This macaron cake is inspired by the ancient city in Persia and is also known to be named after the ispahan rose. The Ispahan pronounced “ES-PA-HAH”, is an iconic macaron cake made famous by French manufacturer and retailer of high-end pastries and confectionary, Ladurée. The original creator of the Ispahan, Pierre Herme also known as “The Picasso of Pastry”, invented this delicate dessert whilst working at the famous high end French Patisserie. This pastry has been made famous by Laduree of France and when they made it for their location in Beverley Hills California they made it using our GERBET egg white replacer product and introduced it as a Vegan Ispahan.

Basic equipment is needed depending on the course and the extent you want to take your training. For all of our courses you will need a blender, cook top, oven, etc.  We recommend a food processor, stand or hand mixer, a thermometer, measuring spoons and a scales.
