Vegan Tiramisu Macarons

In this recipe we will make a plant based alternative to this iconic french pastry. The addition of marsala wine provides a sophisticated touch, making this sweet treat perfect for special occasions. A delicious blend of coffee, marsala wine, and smooth French buttercream sandwiched between two almond meringue based cookies.
MAKES: 40 Macaron cookies
INGREDIENTS
Macaron Shells
- 120g Almond Meal
- 145g Confectioners Sugar
- 12g GERBET Vegan Egg-white replacer for macarons
- 108g Water
- 120g Caster Sugar
- Gel food colour (Plant Based)
- Cocoa Powder
Tiramisu French Buttercream
- 22g Instant Vanilla Pudding powder
- 70g Plant milk
- 80g Vegan Margarine, high fat butter alternative, unsalted, softened
- 35g Confectioners Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp instant coffee
- 11g Marsala Wine
